BAAN THALAENORK

Beautiful sunset at BTN

Baan Thalaenork (BTN) is situated in a relatively untouched part of Thailand - the province of Ranong on the Andaman coastline. The local population is almost entirely Muslim and not accustomed to seeing Westerners. You will, though, be warmly accepted by the people here. Please, visit our community activities page.

At the end of December 2004 , as you will no doubt be aware, Baan Thalaenork village was destroyed by the tsunami. Many villagers lost their lives. We were the first organisation involved in helping during the aftermath and our site also sustained significant damage.
